Cancellation Policy
As an independent tour guide, I always want to provide the best experience for the people who follow my tours. Once the tour is confirmed (after payment by client), it means I have committed to showing you and your group around Paris and have closed off my schedule for other bookings. As a result of this, I often have to turn down other opportunities.
Cancellation more than 3 months before the tour date
If you cancel more than 3 months in advance, I will refund the tour minus a 30€ cancellation fee. This cancellation fee is used to cover the admin and transaction fees.
Cancellations of more than 3 months and less than 1 month of the tour date
When a tour is cancelled between 1 month and 3 months before the tour date, a 25% cancellation rate is applied plus a 30€ cancellation fee. Alternatively, you can opt for a tour credit that can be used within one year of the scheduled tour date.
Cancellations between 1 month and 2 weeks
When a tour is cancelled within one month of the tour, a 50% cancellation rate is applied plus a 30€ cancellation fee. Alternatively, you can opt for a tour credit that can be used within one year of the scheduled tour date.
Cancellation within 2 weeks
When a tour is cancelled with less than two weeks notice, it can no longer be refunded.
Rescheduling
If your plans change and you need to adjust the tour hours, I will do my best to reschedule the tour. However this is not always possible. If we cannot reschedule, the normal cancellation rates apply. Alternatively, you can opt for a tour credit that can be used within one year of the scheduled tour date.
Cancellation on my part
In the very rare cases where I need to cancel the tour, I will refund 100% of the price you paid. No cancellation fee is applied. When possible, I will also connect you with another guide.
